I am a freelance photographer who works in the evenings and on the weekends. I enjoy shooting natural things (both macro and zoom), candid shots of people doing something (work, going to and from, sleeping, etc), and I also take pictures for iStockPhoto.

I am an American living in Seoul, Korea. I plan to be here for at least another four years or more. For the past seven years I have been working in the Information Technology industry. The pay is good; however, the amount of work that you have to do and the hours that you spend at work are too much, regardless of the salary. It is time to work on building another career so I can do something that I truly enjoy no matter how many hours I work at it.

The first subject that I ever enjoyed taking in photography has always been nature. I love to take macro photos of insects, flowers, spiders, fungi, etc. I also enjoy taking photos using a zoom lens of animals and birds. I am pursuing the photos of animals in situations that are difficult to capture, for example, a squirrel jumping between branches or trees, a bird in flight, an animal catching its prey.

The second subject that I enjoy shooting is people doing what they normally do. Whether they are; sleeping, walking, running, cycling, working it does not matter. I like taking candid shots. These also tie in with the work that I am doing for iStock; I can use these as stock photos for sell. In addition, I am working on taking static pictures of objects for iStock.
